1. Software

Over the last 30 years we have never stopped product development, currently our software applications are Windows based and tested, running on various version Microsoft SQL databases. Our newest products, to be introduced over the next 18 months, will be browser based applications. The browser applications will give you all the ease and flexibility you are accustomed to with added features only available via browser based applications and the WEB. With the introduction of the browser applications you will have the option in-house hosting or QDS hosting your data and programs, all you will need is internet access on any PC or device and you will be off and running.

2. IT SERVICES

We offer customized Information Technology services for your Town or office, these services include a full line of IT services we call Managing Integrated Networks and Data (M.I.N.D. plans). We can also offer a-la-carte services such as hardware maintenance, Disaster recovery Plans, consulting services, server and PC installation, network administration, etc. We are a DELL and HP Preferred vendor and we can configure your PC’s, server etc. for your office requirements.

3. WEB SERVICES

For taxpayer’s lookup and to reduce the amount of calls to the tax and assessor offices we introduced our WEB based Taxpayer inquiry products. These products are hosted by QDS and display ONLY FOI (Freedom of Information) tax information for Real Estate, Personal Property Motor Vehicle and Utility accounts. This optional service backs up the tax collector database nightly and displays taxpayer information (accurate as of the prior day’s close of business) on the WEB via a link we provide for each town. In our Taxpayer WEB inquiry we have incorporated a SHOPPING CART so taxpayers can click and pay their bills on-line by processing their payments via the PREFERRED APPROVED BILL PAYMENT VENDORS. The town can chose what information to display and accounts can be omitted from WEB by properly coding the record in the tax system.

We are also introducing a separate WEB product for those Municipalities that use our PARKING Tickets collection module. The WEB Parking module lets holders of Parking Tickets look up and pay (1) their tickets on-line. Payments from the WEB Parking can then be processed via the PREFERRED APPROVED PARKING BILL PAYMENT VENDORS

4 – PRINTING, MAILING, SUPPLIES AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS SERVICES

In 1981 when Quality Data Service, Inc. was formed, it began as a printing and data processing center. In 2007 we moved to a larger facility (over 5,000 sq ft) due to 3 factors, our growing customer base, a more centralized location to service our clients and the need to meet our expanding printing services. Currently 99% of our clients take advantage of our expertise in printing services including tax bills, demand notices, increase notices, final posted rate books, grand lists, inserts, envelopes, mailing etc. we provide all printing and mailing services for our clients. Our exclusive CLUB Billing (only available when bills are printed by QDS) reduces the number of Motor Vehicle bills by an average of 33%, in conjuction with CASS certification services we can reduce postage costs by 45% and overall cost of tax bill, processing, printing and mailing to a municipality by 25%.

In 2003 we teamed with several mailing companies to provide the best quality, least costly mailing service for our clients. We offer CASS (Coding Accuracy Support System) certification and NCOA (National Change of Address) services to give our clients the lowest possible postage costs and delivery point accuracy.
